It’s been a while since I read this book, but I remember it reading like a textbook (which I think it is lol). It is an interesting read, though. It gives an overview of Indian history, from its earliest recorded history to the modern day. It touched a bit on early Indian religions, which I remember being really interested by, as well as modern political conflicts. It’s a good starting point to get the general gist of Indian history, specific periods of which you can then do further reading on if you find them interesting. Nothing is wrong with it — I’m just trying to clear some space on my shelves. Willing to bundle with other books!
