These Emergent Readers were used by me, a Reading Specialist, to teach Reading Recovery to First grade students. The set of ten includes Blueberry Hill Publishers and is considered levels 18-19 which are late first grade and early second grade. My students loved these books because they were engaging and fun and made them feel like they were successful readers. The books are not too long so students do not get overwhelmed or feel discouraged.
